The purpose of women’s health physiotherapy is to achieve optimal function and strength of the pelvic floor muscles and connective tissue, improve the strength and coordination of the abdominal, thigh, groin muscles and diaphragm, optimise mobility of the pelvis, lumbar spine and hip joints, achieve good bladder, bowel and sexual health, and restore normal breathing patterns.

Pregnancy and post-natal Physiotherapy:
- Existing or new onset back/coccyx/pelvic girdle/groin/leg/wrist pain
- Rectus diastasis (tummy separating)
- Exercise throughout all trimesters and return to exercise post-natally
- Exercise in high-risk pregnancies including gestational diabetes
- Recovery after vaginal/caesarean section
- Breast feeding related blocked ducts/mastitis
- Urinary dysfunction
Non-pregnancy related:
- Urinary dysfunction – stress/urgency incontinence, overactive bladder, nocturia
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Bowel disorders
